Cat and Contraption

Above: Mishka enjoys a contemplative view from his 'contraption'. Below: This remarkable architecture was built by our friend Paul when Mish had outgrown his kitten sized scratch pole. Since he's had it, Mish has tended to be a well more well adjusted adolescent cat (he's about 7 months old). Note that His Haughtiness has registered my presence and is doing his best to ignore me.

Mishka relishes the fact that there is a bit of the house which is purr-ly his. In fact, he's quite territorial about it. He often uses it as an ambush point against people or bugs walking by. Below: Concerned.

'Mish' has been with us now for close on a month. He has grown a fair bit.

He is a bit of a scally-wag.

Constantly on the lookout for adventures, he gets himself in a bit of trouble occasionally.

Like last night for example. Mishka got himself shut in the cupboard under the stairs and it took about 10 hours before he got let out by his 'saviour'. He was a little perturbed after that adventure!

Mishka is a nearly-three-month-old 'Ragdoll' cat.

Libby

Our mate Libby.

... Libby is going on six years old, and is Lucy's constant companion. She was supposedly a Belgium German Shepard cross, but we think she's beautiful. She has had one litter of pups, of whom 'Monty' was one (click here to see Lucy and Monty).

Libby Dude

Libby has had this ball for maybe four years. We used to always hear its 'squeak', but it takes a fair bit of effort for her to get it going these days. She is always inventing new games to play with her ball.

Afterall, there's nothing more satisfying than a good game with your ball!
